    I always worry that when I re-read a "favourite" book that it won't live up to my memory. This was thankfully not the case for Ender's Game. The writing is simple, but the story is excellent. I fully enjoyed it the second time through, I liked reading it from a slightly different perspective, knowing how it was going to end.

    "This Immortal" is a good story with deep characters and some good references to historical mythology. I would recommend it even for people who don't like to read science fiction very often.
